Anti-social behaviour
The term ‘anti social behaviour’ covers a wide range of inconsiderate and unacceptable activity that can blight the quality of community life. Terms such as ‘nuisance’, ‘disorder’, and ‘harassment’ are terms used to describe some of this behaviour.

Examples include:
  • nuisance neighbours
  • yobbish behaviour and intimidating groups taking over public spaces
  • vandalism, graffiti and fly-posting
  • people dealing and buying drugs on the street
  • people dumping rubbish and abandoning cars
  • begging and anti-social drinking
  • the misuse of fireworks
  • reckless driving of mini-motorbikes
  • excessive noise

If you are suffering from anti-social behaviour, please contact us as soon as possible. Your Housing Officer will discuss the issue with you, and agree the best way forward. You may be asked to keep a diary of incidents, and we will support you whilst the anti-social behaviour is ongoing.
